The new advanced stop lines in Eastbourne have been in place for a few weeks now, but it is becoming increasingly obvious they are not working.
Bespoke have put together the following short video to highlight the problems.
The omission of feeder lanes goes against the original plans that were shown to Bespoke. The plans we saw included a feeder lane to the advanced stop line. We liked this and asked if ASLs could be added to all arms of the junction. We are disappointed to see these are now missing.
We would urge East Sussex County Council to look again at this junction and see if the ASLs can be remedied with feeder lanes.
