Bespoke are inviting NHS staff and others to attend a gentle healthy cycle ride which aims to encourage, promote, and give suport for cycling for transport and health. The ride will be finished within two hours.
Evidence shows people who cycle regularly are 30% less likely to suffer from dementia, stroke, diabetes, some cancers, and depression. Often individuals need to help to make small changes and fewer car journeys mean less pollution! This is a new venture between Bespoke Cycle Group and East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. Everyone is riding at their own risk and in their own time. Please bring/wear bright or fluorescent clothes and items.
Children, adults, and staff of all ages are welcome.
We’ll be meeting on Saturday 17th June 2017 at 11am (for an 11:30am start) by the main roundabout outside Eastbourne DGH.
If you’d like to borrow a pushbike, please contact Steve at Let’s Bike on 07875 591648 in advance.
For more details please contact Mrs Scarlett McNally, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
