Bike riders of any age and ability are welcome to join us for Eastbourne’s next Kidical Mass! A happy, marshalled group bike ride along the seafront.
Departing from the Spring Water Festival’s Eco Fair (Saturday 10th May 2025) at 11 am from the Western Lawns, up to Princes Park, and back to the Fair. Gathering point: Duke of Devonshire Statue.
Come early from 10 am to decorate your bike for free with recycled materials at the Bespoke Cycle Stand, see the WaterCycle and Puppet Show, and explore the fair.
No unaccompanied kids. The littlest or slowest riders set the Pace. We will be riding on the road, though, so the ride is not suitable for balance bikes and scooters. Bring your refillable water bottles, helmets for kids, dogs on bikes, and a picnic to eat on the lawns afterwards! Food will also be available at the Fair. And rumours of extra bike parking for the day, the high vis bikini, and the Band on Bikes!
In the memory and joyful spirit of our lovely Front Marshal, Felicity, who passed away a few months ago, we are calling this ride Felicity’s Way – done with love, celebration, and a lot of determination!
