11 year old cyclist left injured in Hailsham hit and run

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a car and a 11-year old girl pedal cyclist, in North Street, Hailsham, between 8.30am and 9:30am on Sunday (16 April).

The car, described as a silver Mercedes, had apparently driven off from the scene without stopping.

A man who was passing by assisted the young girl, who sustained minor leg injuries which did not require hospital treatment, and police are keen to speak to him and any other witnesses.
