A cyclist has been airlifted to St. George’s Hospital in London with serious injuries following a collision with a car in the Hampden Park area of Eastbourne.
The accident occurred in Acacia Road just before 9am today – December 8th 2014.
Sussex Police, the ambulance service and the air ambulance were all called and attended the scene.
It is believed that although serious, the cyclist’s injuries are not life-threatening.
